Level 1 Network Engineer - Office & Hybrid.

Requirements:
Exceptional customer service skills with basic understanding of technology such as
Wi-Fi, smart devices and the ability to troubleshoot connectivity problems. Basic
networking knowledge would be helpful but can be taught in the role.

About us:
My client is an IT and telecommunication company operating as an ISP in the
northeast of England. Offering FTTP and WISP internet access to areas all over the
northeast and upper midlands.

About the role:
Including, but not limited to:-
The role of a level 1 engineer will be to troubleshoot customer issues that have been
received by our customer service team. When a customer ticket is raised, an
engineer will make contact and try to understand the nature of the fault and take
appropriate steps to resolve. These issues can vary from helping customers connect
devices to their home network, checking customer Wi-Fi performance, identifying
faulty equipment, or helping to educate where no fault is present. The role requires
working from my clients office or from home between the hours of 7:30 – 21:00. 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
- Resolving level 1 tickets with the team or escalating to level 2.
- Performing daily checks of infrastructure equipment.
- Ensuring detailed handovers at the start/end of shifts.
- And any other relevant duties required by Senior Management.

Requirements:
- Basic understanding of networking.
- Good understanding of Wi-Fi.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Good communication skills.
