Sr Production Scientist

Our client, an ambitious and dynamic start-up business based in Strathclyde is seeking a Sr Production Scientist to lead production activities for IVD products and maintain ISO13485 compliance. The role involves developing manufacturing and QC plans, managing production duties, maintaining equipment under ISO13485 QMS, and contributing to ISO13485 certification maintenance.
Requirements:- Experience in an industrial, ISO13485 certified lab environment
- Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation, calibration, and maintenance
- Understanding of EU IVDD/IVDR regulations
- Experience in internal or external auditing to ISO13485
- Ability to work with spectroscopy-based techniques, especially IR Spectroscopy
- Good honours degree or PhD in Applied Analytical Science or related discipline
