Setting Out Engineer

We have several opportuntiies for Setting-out engineers to work on a variety of HV schemes up to 132kV in Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire & Suffolk.
As the Setting out engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Using survey equipment, such as total stations and GPS, to establish control points, set out reference points, and ensure that the project is built to the correct level and alignment
- Checking and interpreting design drawings and specifications
- Providing guidance and assistance to other members of the construction team, such as builders and other engineers, to ensure that projects are constructed correctly
- Communicating with other members of the construction team, such as architects, builders, and other engineers, to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the satisfaction of clients
- Following safety procedures and regulations
- Participating in training and development opportunities to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements from applicants
- Need to have HV cabling or substation experience
- Setting out & survey Qualification
