Our client is an engineering manufacturing business in Runcorn, they are well established and growing rapidly. You will oversee the procurement of a range of bespoke engineering products.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality and reliability
  • Identify, evaluate and establish relationships with suppliers
  • Negotiate contracts, terms and conditions
  • Control inventory to optimise supply chain
  • Identify opportunities to reduce cost
  • Ensure all procured items are in line with the relevant quality standards

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role within procurement, buying, purchasing, supply chain management etc.
  • Living commutable to Runcorn, you could like in Liverpool, Chester, Warrington, Widnes, Lymm, Northwich, Ellesmere Port, Knutsford, Winsford etc.
