Warehouse and Logistics Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager to oversee our transportation and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing our supply chain processes, ensuring efficient inventory management, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall logistics performance.

The role is 100% office based and offered with a salary of £45 - £55K, depending on your experience.

Key to this role is drive and ambition. We are a small business and the role is not a strict 9 to 5. There will be times of urgency and a need to work outside standard hours when business dictates.

Responsibilities:

• shipping goods, customs and duty requirements, using brokers, couriers
• receiving and handling processes and managing a small warehouse and inventory.
• knowledge and use of MS Dynamics as an ERP tool would be preferable.
• in-country warehouse set-up and distribution

Experience:

- Proven experience in logistics management with a focus on transportation and warehouse operations.
- Strong background in continuous improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence.
- Knowledge of business processes related to logistics and supply chain management.

Required Skills:
- Proficiency in supervising logistics teams to achieve operational goals.
- In-depth understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) for efficient inventory control.
