Climb Recruitment are proud to be working with a leading, worldwide supplying manufacturing company who due to continued growth, are looking for a talented Manual Turner to join the team at their Cumbernauld site. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manufacture components from engineering drawings, whilst working within company Quality procedures 

  • Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained to ensure a safe and clean working environment 

  • Interpret engineering drawings to customer specifications in order to produce components to the correct standards within the estimated production times

Accountabilities & Performance Measures

  • Produce components to the correct standards within the estimated production times 

  • Machining high grade material for example Inconel 718

Role Requirements

  • 2 years machining experience with the oil and gas industry 

  • Experience of operating a wide range of conventional and NC Machine Tools 

  • Working knowledge of relevant tooling applications and machine tool capability including tool feed and speeds required to achieve efficient cycle times

Workings Hours & Rates of Pay

  • Two Weeks Rotation of Days/Nights Shift Pattern 

  • Day Shifts - Monday to Thursday - 6.30am to 4pm & Fridays 6.30am to 1.30pm

  • Night Shifts - Monday to Thursday 7.30pm to 6.30am

  • Salary Range - £28,000 to £29,000 Depending on Experience
