Responsibilities of the Corporate Tax Managers

• Build relationships with a portfolio of clients.
• Advise clients on their compliance obligations.
• Manage client tax risks.
• Consider tax planning opportunities.
• Develop the wider team including delivering appraisals to junior members and setting objectives.
• Negotiate and raise fees.
• WIP management.

Requirements for a successful Corporate Tax Managers

• ACA and/or CTA qualified with at least 5 years post qualification corporate tax experience within an accountancy practice.
• Ability to build excellent client relationships.
• Experience of working with a portfolio of clients to deliver on annual corporation tax reporting requirements.
• Demonstrable broad and strong technical tax knowledge.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience managing and driving a team.
