I am currently recruiting a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer in partnership with one of the UK's most highly regarded M&E contractors. My client has dominated the construction industry for the past 30 years delivering some of the largest landmark commercial office, mixed-use & data centre projects in Central London with project values ranging from £40 million - £200 million MEP.

They have tasked me with finding a Mechanical project engineer with tier one project experience in Central London who has experience delivering projects from the PCSA stage through till completion with project values upwards of £40 million MEP.

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in the development of one of the most exciting commercial design & build projects currently being constructed in London valued at £50 million MEP.

This is a stellar opportunity for an established Senior Mechanical Project Engineer who is looking to work for one of the most prestigious building Services Contractors in London who deliver the most cutting-edge projects in London, whilst a market leading salary with the option to progress into project management in the coming years upon successful completion of this flagship project in Central London.

Responsibilities/ Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years in a Mechanical Project engineering role
  • Responsible for all mechanical packages from heavy mechanical infrastructure through to the bespoke mechanical fit out.
  • Experience managing sub-contractor teams.
  • Essential that the candidate has taken multiple schemes valued upwards of £40 million MEP from pre-construction through to handover.
  • Reporting the Project Lead.
  • Issuing progress reports.
  • Collaborating with the design, estimating, surveying and procurement departments.
  • Collating RAMS, O&M's & RFI's for Project Lead to issue.
  • Liaise with the client & stakeholders.
  • Preparation, submission, and agreement of variations.
  • Manage and build on client relations.
  • Client facing/ professional.
  • Provide technical assistant to operations team & troubleshooting.
  • Ensuring all deadlines and requirements are met completing mechanical components and projects and writing up reports.
  • Procuring and managing all mechanical packages and materials.
  • Strong Pre-construction experience in the PCSA stage.
  • Ensuring health & safety is always adhered to a high standard.
  • Coordinating Sub-contractors & specialist Sub-contractors.
  • Attend and participate in design, consultant, team and client meetings.
  • Ensuring that the project has been delivered within correct time constraints and budgets.

Remuneration Package

  • Industry leading and negotiated basic salary (dependent on previous experience/ track record).
