Description
Senior Buyer - FMCG Food Manufacturing will:
- Join a thriving team, focused on £m's of spend across multiple categories
- Be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, products, and services essential for the company's manufacturing and production processes.
- This role involves managing supplier relationships, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting the overall supply chain strategy.
- Analyse market trends and conduct cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Implement cost reduction initiatives and track their impact on the procurement budget.
- Monitor and report on procurement KPIs, including cost savings and supplier performance.
Profile
To be successful in this role, you must have the following experience:
- FMCG Manufacturing experience
- Strong supplier negotiations with excellent communication skills
- Cost savings and other achievements
- The ability to challenge the norm, in a constructive and professional manner
- Global sourcing experience
