Description

Senior Buyer - FMCG Food Manufacturing will:

  • Join a thriving team, focused on £m's of spend across multiple categories
  • Be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, products, and services essential for the company's manufacturing and production processes.
  • This role involves managing supplier relationships, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting the overall supply chain strategy.
  • Analyse market trends and conduct cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Implement cost reduction initiatives and track their impact on the procurement budget.
  • Monitor and report on procurement KPIs, including cost savings and supplier performance.

Profile

To be successful in this role, you must have the following experience:

  • FMCG Manufacturing experience
  • Strong supplier negotiations with excellent communication skills
  • Cost savings and other achievements
  • The ability to challenge the norm, in a constructive and professional manner
  • Global sourcing experience
