Senior Control Systems Engineer - Cheshire - Up To £65,000 + Benefits - Ref 1658

I am currently recruiting for a Senior Control Systems Engineer to work for a cutting-edge technology company based in Cheshire. Salary up to £65,000 + Benefits.

This innovative and forward-thinking automation and special purpose machinery company are leaders within their field and subsequently employ some of best engineers within their respective fields. This company are a medium sized business providing specialist equipment to multiple sectors and turnover north of £11 million per annum. This business is going from strength to strength and as a result their numbers are increasing year on year as they continue to cope with market demand for their products and services.

To deliver upon a new cutting-edge project and products which will push the boundaries of technology, they have the need to appoint a Senior Control Systems Engineer on a permanent basis.

In this role as the Senior Control Systems Engineer, you will be programming PLC's from scratch for their bespoke machinery and automation projects. It will be a full life cycle role therefore you will also be expected to oversee installations and complete the necessary commissioning. There may also be some Robot Programming dependant depending upon the projects. There will be some site work as and when required, but its predominately UK based for short periods.

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Control Systems Engineer or similar
• Experienced Programming PLC's from scratch (Siemens or Allen Bradley / Rockwell)
• Experience with Special Purpose Machinery and/or Automation

Ideal Requirements:

• Installation Experience
• Commissioning Experience
• Robot Programming
