Position: Design Manager - Solar PV

Job Description:

They are currently seeking a talented and experienced Design Manager to lead their design team in creating efficient and effective solar PV systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, development, and implementation of solar projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards. Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the design team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship as needed
• Oversee the design process for solar PV projects, from initial concept to final implementation
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and installation teams to develop comprehensive project proposals and designs
• Ensure designs comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices
• Review technical specifications, drawings, and documentation to verify accuracy and feasibility
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather relevant data for design purposes
• Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to address design requirements and concerns
• Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and innovations in solar PV technology

Requirements:

• Proven experience in solar PV design, with a strong understanding of photovoltaic systems and components
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, PV Sol, and Helioscope
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Previous experience in project management or coordination would be advantageous
