They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Manager to join their team. The ideal Commercial Manager will have a strong background in commercial management within the construction industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a track record of delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
Commercial Manager’s key responsibilities
- Oversee all commercial aspects of projects from inception to completion.
- Manage project budgets, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks.
- The Commercial Manager will be expected to lead a team of quantity surveyors and other commercial staff.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide strategic input to project planning and execution.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a commercial management role within the construction industry.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale building projects.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., MS Office, project management software).
