My client is offering an exciting opportunity for a talented Principal / Associate Structural Engineer to join their Hull team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage projects from concept through to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage a team and act as Line Manager to team members, ensuring effective communication and performance management.
- Take responsibility for the design philosophy, options, and technical reviews.
- Manage project changes, fees, and timelines to meet client and company objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, acting as Key Account/Relationship Manager for certain clients.
- Quote for projects and support the Office Director in client management and development.
Technical Expertise:
- Lead the structural engineering design process, overseeing technical drawings, calculations, and specifications using AutoCAD, REVIT, TEKLA, and MasterSeries.
- Ensure the designers risk assessments are carried out at appropriate stages under the CDM Regulations.
- Engage with BIM (Building Information Modelling) activities and deliverables, producing coordinated 3-D design models and documentation.
- Immediate projects include high-rise schemes and residential developments for various developers.
- Main project types encompass a broad variety, including steel, concrete, and modular structures.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- A bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (a master's degree is advantageous).
- Chartered Engineer status with a relevant professional body.
- Excellent knowledge of relevant codes and regulations.
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
