Our team at Brookstreet Social Care are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support worker to join our team in providing high-quality care and support across a variety of our services in the Northeast, the successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
- Care and Support:
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support, ensuring physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and leisure activities.
- Safeguarding and Safety:
- Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures to protect the welfare of all service users.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including care plans, incident reports, and daily logs. Communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and external agencies to ensure coordinated and consistent care.
- Professional Development:
- Engage in continuous professional development, attending relevant training and keeping up to date with best practices in childcare and support.
- Brookstreet Social Care are also able to provide specialised on-going training with our internal training specialist team.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- DBS on the update service for Adults and or Children
- Experience working with service users in a residential or respite care setting.
- Understanding the needs of service users with diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Driving licence
