Our client is a leading Facilities Management company specialising in providing exceptional services to the healthcare sector. They are committed to enhancing patient care and staff well-being through high-quality and efficiently managed catering services. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Catering Manager to join our team and lead our catering operations within healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day catering operations within healthcare facilities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food services
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of patients, staff, and visitors
  • Team Leadership
  • Lead, train, and manage a team of catering staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and provide ongoing support and development opportunities
  • Ensure all catering activities comply with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards of hygiene and food quality.
  • Develop and manage the catering budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Monitor and control inventory, ordering supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Customer Service:
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly and effectively.
  • Engage with patients, staff, and visitors to ensure their catering needs and preferences are met.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Catering Manager, preferably within the healthcare sector.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong budget management and cost control skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in catering management, with a focus on healthcare facilities.
