QHSE Officer

Location: Grangemouth, FK3 9XB
Salary: £38K - £45K per annum, DOE
Contract: 12-month FTC
Benefits: Pension: Employee contribution 2.5% and employer 5.5%, Holidays: 35 days (including bank holidays), Life Cover: Death in Service 4 x Salary,

Denholm Environmental, are a subsidiary of Denholm Energy Services.

We are now seeking a meticulous QHSE Officer on an initial 12 month FTC,  to join our team, you will ensure that our organisation adheres to HS&E legal standards and internal policies / procedures. You will be based onsite in our Grangemouth Depot.

You will promote a positive and innovative safety culture by driving QHSE forward within the business and supporting the company in the development and delivery of its QHSE Management systems, objectives, KPIs and legislation.

This is a hands-on role requiring an impartial, highly motivated, self-starter coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills facing the workforce and management.

You will also proactively contribute to the continuous QHSE improvement of the Grangemouth facility in order to improve efficiency, effectiveness and profitability.

In order to be successful in this role you should have the following qualifications:

  • Relevant QHSE experience.
  • NEBOSH GC.
  • ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
