£50,000 - £65,000/annum plus package

My client are a market-leading construction and property consultancy delivering significant projects throughout the UK. Their expertise includes project management, cost consultancy, employer's agent services, fund monitoring, and development management.

They deliver a variety of projects in both the private and public sectors including large residential developments, luxury private housing, and major healthcare initiatives.

They have an opportunity for a Fund Monitor / Quantity Surveyor to join their team and work on a range of newly secured projects across the Manchester area.

Duties to include:

  • Monitor construction progress with reference to both the schedule and the cost plan.
  • Oversee the quality of work delivered by the contractor and their sub-contractors.
  • Approve interim payments according to the drawdown schedule.
  • Ensure compliance at all project stages.
  • Approve Practical Completion of the project.
  • Advise on defect rectification throughout the rectification period.
