My client is a leading global provider of lift maintenance and repair services to international markets, holding an excellent reputation for retaining prestigious contracts across the world. They are currently seeking to add an experienced Lift Service & Callout Engineer to their Northern Team, covering an patch incorporating York to Hull. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of a variety of lift systems. This is a mobile role requiring travel between York and Hull to respond to scheduled maintenance and emergency callouts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing routine maintenance and servicing of lift equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults efficiently, minimizing downtime.
  • Responding to emergency callouts promptly and effectively.
  • Carrying out thorough inspections and testing of lift systems.
  • Ensuring all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all work carried out and report any issues to management.
  • Providing excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients.
  • Participating in the on-call rota to cover out-of-hours emergencies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Lift Service Engineer, preferably with callout experience.
  • Relevant qualifications in lift engineering (NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent).
  • Strong technical knowledge of various lift systems and components.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of lift faults.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Full UK driving license.

Remuneration: 

  • A basic annual salary of up to £42,000 per year, based on a 39-hour working week. 
  • Travel pay, up to £3,000 extra per year for your daily commute.
