Tradewind are recruiting for a Cover Supervisor with a sports specialism for one of our client secondary schools based on the Wirral. This is a long-term opportunity starting in September, continuing initially until Christmas. This role will consist of providing general cover across the secondary curriculum - overseeing completion of pre-set work in the absence of the subject teacher. The successful Cover Supervisor will be attached to the PE department so will cover PE lessons when required.

Skills required to be considered for this Cover Supervisor position include:

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to quickly form relationships with students aged 11-16
• A can do attitude
• Reliability
• Flexibility
• Classroom management experience (desirable)

The successful Cover Supervisor will be joining a Wirral based secondary school whose vision is for every student to have the very best educational experience, to be seen as respectful of others, happy and with a strong moral-compass.

To be considered for this Cover Supervisor with Sports specialism position based on the Wirral for September 2024 the essential requirements are:

• Experience working with children aged 11-16
• Have a PE degree/ sports coach qualification
• Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
• Full and complete career history
• Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
• Legal right to work in the UK
