Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Support Worker to join our team in Maidstone, Kent. This role involves working with children who have emotional and behavioural difficulties, providing them with the support and guidance they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and support to children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each child's needs.
Work closely with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
Foster a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for the children.
Encourage and support positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
Assist in developing social skills and coping strategies.
Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions.

Requirements:

Experience working with children, particularly those with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
A compassionate and patient nature.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Relevant qualifications in childcare or social work are desirable.
DBS check required.
