Blue Arrow is proud to be working in partnership with a family run road haulage company who have successfully operated for over 60 years, and they are now looking to recruit 2x HGV Technicans ranging from semi-skilled to fully skilled to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

Hours: 40 hours per week - rotating shifts between earlies and afternoons.
Mon-Fri (8 hours shift)
* 6:00am - 2:30pm
* 12:00pm - 8:30pm

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

What duties will be included in the HGV Technicians role?
* Performing major and minor repairs to heavy goods vehicles, trailers, and other vehicles in the company fleet
* Performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services such as tyre rotation and oil changes
* Maintaining inventory in the workshop and cleanliness
* Working with repair teams to help diagnose and plan repairs for the vehicles.
* Maintaining records of vehicles that have been repaired or handled.
* Providing repair services in case of emergencies
* Completing relevant documentation and paperwork

What will you bring to the HGV Technicians role?
* Previous experience as HGV Technician
* At least 1 year's experience in Heavy Goods Vehicles & Construction Plant Mechanics
* Semi or fully skilled experience (training provided)
* Hardworking, reliable
* Positive work attitude
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work well both independently and as part of a wider team.
* Relevant training and qualifications

Where is the HGV Technicians role based?
Our client is based in Kirkby in Ashfield - this location would suit for anybody that lives here or in the surrounding areas of Mansfield, Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire who are flexible with travel.
