A traditional and established, Quantity Surveying consultancy are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their busy team in Surrey, a short drive down from Croydon.

The Quantity Surveyor's Role

The successful Quantity Surveyor will work alongside the Associates and Partners, taking responsibility for several projects including high end residential, English Heritage properties, Schools, Colleges, and Landscaping projects.

Day to day the successful Quantity Surveyor will be involved in:

  • Managing project costs from pitch to completion.
  • Developing strong relationships with clients and contractors.
  • Undertaking monthly on site valuations on behalf my clients.
  • Writing reports and advising on the financial position of projects.
  • Preparing Tender and Contract Documents.

The Quantity Surveyor

  • Completed a BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or similar
  • Minimum of 2 years quantity surveying experience
  • Working within a PQS / Cost Consultancy environment
  • Driving licence and car
  • Good pre contract knowledge
  • Comfortable in client facing situations
