Connex Education are working with a successful Primary School in Oldham, who are seeking to appoint a driven Class Teacher, to work at their school on a full-time basis.

This is a larger-than-average sized, two-form entry school, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. They are looking to appoint a hard working and passionate teacher to work in a Reception class. The school has a warm and friendly atmosphere and all staff at this school aim to provide pupils with a nurturing and engaging learning environment. They are looking for a Class Teacher who can deliver consistently high standards of teaching and learning, with a genuine desire to make a difference to pupils' lives through supporting them to achieve the highest possible outcomes in their education.

Assignment Details

As a Class Teacher within a Reception class at a two-form entry school, you will play a pivotal role in supporting children with their transition from EYFS to Key Stage 1, helping them to achieve their potential. You will have access to support and training from school, as well as impressive school resources. The role will be full-time and will start at the beginning of the next academic year in September 2024, with the intention of it becoming permanent should the candidate be the right fit for the school.

Person Specification

  • Experience working with primary aged children
  • QTS in the UK
  • Positive approach to behaviour management and confidence building
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
