Qualified /Part Qualified Accountant sought for expanding practice with a broad portfolio of clients.

This role will suit an individual looking to progress their career with the potential to become a practice manager in the medium term.

Created due to expansion of this Accountancy practice they are looking for an Accountant with excellent communication and client management skills who wants to step away from the day-to-day accounts’ creation elements of their role.

They want to harness your Accountancy knowledge and expertise to supervise the day-to-day work of their accounts assistant and part qualified team. Technology and the existing management systems do the heavy lifting for their clients. You will oversee, develop and mentor the team as needed.

This will free up your time to conduct thorough client reviews meeting them virtually or in person. Allowing you to get to know the existing and new client base in detail, and where appropriate identify where you can assist them and add value to their business in the services you can offer.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience working within a small accountancy practice and be able to demonstrate where you have previously been a key part of the client relationship management process.

Of course, ACCA/ICAEW accreditation would be a bonus, but the client is open to applications from candidates who are part / majority qualified. The small practice and client relationship elements of the role are the key drivers for this opportunity.
