MBSE Systems Engineer

Location: Preston, Hybrid

Role Overview:
We are seeking Principal and Senior Systems Engineers to join our team. These roles require current Systems Engineers with full lifecycle experience. Ideal candidates will have MBSE systems experience or backgrounds in aerospace, defense, space, nuclear, automotive, or transportation sectors.

Responsibilities:
- Understand and break down system requirements to sub-systems.
- Produce engineering management plans, SOWs, and design review documentation.
- Generate test strategies, plans, and documentation.
- Prepare integration/test environments, including facilities, equipment, tools, and software.
- Support system integration, testing activities, and resolve integration issues.
- Verify system and sub-system requirements and define verification methods/tests.
- Support system/sub-system qualification and acceptance testing.
- Participate in design reviews and provide system demonstrations.
- Integrate systems on flight trials aircraft and support platform integration with customer systems.

Requirements:
- Experience in requirements management, MATLAB/Simulink, and MBSE.
- Experience in MBSE.
- Understanding of MATLAB & Simulink.

Desirable:
- Experience with RF or ECM/EW systems.
- Knowledge of verification methods and traceability to system requirements.
- Experience in Trials or field roles.

Qualifications:
- HND/HNC, BSc/BEng/MSc/MEng in a STEM-based subject or equivalent experience.
