An urgent opportunity has arisen within of the UK's largest independent acoustic consultancies working in a wide variety of sectors but primarily known for their work related to the design stages of projects and working closely with world established architects in the education, high profile residential and performance space mrkets. Due to a continued increase in workload an Acoustic Consultant is needed to join their Edinburgh based team of acousticians.


Qualifications and Experience
* BSc or MSc in acoustics or noise and vibration control
* IoA Diploma
* Minimum of 2 years commercial experience
* Previous acoustic testing experience
* Technically competent and IT proficient
* Good communication and client liaison skills
* The ability to produce technically accurate reports
* Specialist understanding of the required standards and regulations
* Resourceful and ambitious with the ability to self manage

Duties
* Inputting into architectural design
* Accurate data collection and analysis
* Acoustic modeling
* Liaising with staff and clients
* Technical report writing
* Site visits
