SALARY: £35,000 - £55,000 + Package

About Our Client:

They operate as both a Design & Build Contractor and Main Contractor. They are a smaller business who often work under Tier 1 Principle Contractors. Projects vary from general build, residential and internal/externals refurbishment through to restoration works. The company operate from a South Essex based office but projects can be national due to the types of clients the business have. Even in tough times, they are growing and can offer a lot for those looking to join the business.

The Role:

This client is looking for an established Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor due to grow within the organisation. You will be involved in all financial aspects of projects from start to finish, potentially working solo on a smaller job or under a Senior on a larger one. Most projects are sub £5m, often being new build social housing. You will need to have relevant qualifications, such as a Quantity Surveying degree or a Masters. This role will allow you the opportunity to grow and take ownership of projects, all whilst developing and progressing. This will be an office based role with site visits.

The Applicant:

The ideal candidate must have:

• Experience working as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a Main Contractor
• Further related education, a Quantity Surveying degree or Masters or similar.
• The right to work in the UK without a visa

It is desirable to have:

• Worked on new build residential projects for a Main Contractor.
