Group Finanace Director

A service organisation based in central Bristol (offering hybrid working) is currently recruiting a Group Finance Director to join their team on an approximate 3-6 month basis whilst a permanent member of staff is recruited.

Duties will include:
- To provide strategic and financial input on planned future activities of the Group
- Raising of finance and resulting compliance reporting
- Initiatives to improve profitability and legitimately minimise tax liability
- Lead and develop the finance team (currently 10)
- Preparation of forecasts for Group, monitoring actual financial performance vs forecasts
- Responsible for UK and European internal financial reporting and regulatory compliance
- To ensure effective internal controls and risk management are maintained
The successful candidate will have previous experience operating at Board level and have a proven track record of leading teams and providing effective accurate, timely financial information both historic and future. A professional accountancy qualification is also essential.
