Location: Hedge End
Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: No weekends
Salary: £33,000 per annum
About Us:
My Client is a independent garage based in Hedge End, known for our excellent customer service and high standards of vehicle maintenance and repair who are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Car & Commercial Technician to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting vehicle inspections and identifying mechanical issues.
- Performing routine maintenance and servicing on a variety of car and van models.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults using advanced diagnostic equipment.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
- Maintaining accurate records of all work carried out and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborating with the team to ensure a smooth workflow and efficient garage operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a car and van technician, preferably in an independent garage setting.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
- Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
