Our client, a leading player in the Rail Communications sector, is currently seeking a Contract Project Engineer (Operational Comms) to join their dynamic team. This role involves crucial involvement in key railway communications projects, focusing on delivering effective operational communications solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with engineering teams and project management to ensure seamless integration of project activities
- Responding to technical and project engineering enquiries both on site and in relation to project documentation
- Assisting in the production of engineering and project site solutions
- Managing project delivery with a focus on FTN, FTNx, Concentrators, Fibre Copper cabling, and transmission systems
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Providing technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle
Job Requirements:
- Experience in project engineering within the operational communications field
- In-depth knowledge of FTN, FTNx, Concentrators, Fibre Copper cabling, and transmission systems
- Strong skills in project engineering and technical documentation
- Understanding of the railway communications sector
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
