Year 5 Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Location: South Sheffield Suburb
Start Date: September 2024
Contract: Full-Time, Fixed Term (September 2024 - July 2025)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join our vibrant two-form entry primary school in South Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of our school community on a full-time basis, covering a maternity leave from September 2024 until July 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach all subjects across the Year 5 curriculum.
• Engage and inspire students, fostering a love of learning.
• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
• Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
• Participate fully in school life, including extracurricular activities and school events.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive teaching environment.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• This role is suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT); full support will be provided for induction.
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to student development.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
