An established Accountancy Practice based in Pontefract is looking for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their friendly team. With a strong brand presence in the local area, the firm has a great reputation and is highly regarded by clients.

As a Semi Senior Practice Accountant, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall financial health of client's businesses. Your precision and expertise will contribute to delivering reliable financial insights and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

What's On Offer:

• Salary £30,000 p.a. negotiable DOE
• Part-time working arrangements

The Role:

• Preparation of accounts for small businesses, sole traders and limited companies
• Preparation of VAT, corporation and personal tax returns
• Advising and resolving queries for a portfolio of clients
• Managing and processing client payroll

What You'll Need:

• Preferably fully qualified or studying ACCA/AAT

• Proven experience working within a Practice environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SAGE, QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
