Customer Care Specialist

Adecco is thrilled to be recruiting on behalf of our esteemed client in Carlisle, who is looking to fill the position of Customer Care Specialist.

This opportunity has arisen due to an internal promotion, and it offers a chance to work with a forward-thinking, growing, and reputable local employer. Our client is flexible and welcomes both full-time and part-time candidates for this permanent role.

The position involves working 37.5 hours per week within our client's operating hours, which are:

Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Saturday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

You will be working on a rota basis, with shifts including:

  • 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
  • 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM

We are looking for a candidate who is flexible and able to work any of the above shifts. Saturday work is required only on a rota basis and not every week.

You'll help drive continuous improvement in the business by sharing feedback and best practice across the team to help resolve issues and improve our customers' journeys. You will do all of this, whilst working towards several targets, so it's important you're motivated.

We are all about the customer and putting them first, so some of the things you'll be doing are:

  • Providing exceptional service to those who contact us via phone, email and webchat, aiming to resolve their query at first point of contact.
  • Owning and resolving complaints to turn these around efficiently and effectively.
  • Identifying other ways we can help, through the products and services that we offer.
  • Working safely and within policies to protect and safeguard customer confidentiality.

Salary/benefits

  • Starting on £24,728 following training you'll move to £26,498 p.a. FTE.
