Position: Temporary Finance Assistant
Location: West Edinburgh - Free parking, on well served bus route.
Duration: 6-8 weeks
Temporary requirement for my client based in West Edinburgh. Free parking on site & a well-served bus route.
They are seeking someone with a finance & administration background, who can hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
- Sales Ledger Management:
- Track and raise invoices efficiently.
- Reconcile sales ledger accounts accurately.
- Confidently handle communications with external customers.
- Cashbook Management:
- Post receipts promptly.
- Perform thorough bank reconciliations.
- Administrative Support:
- Assist with various ad hoc administrative tasks within the finance department as needed.
Requirements:
- Self-Starter: Must be proactive and able to work under minimal supervision.
- Sales Ledger Experience: Proven experience in managing sales ledgers, including invoice tracking, raising, and account reconciliation.
- Cashbook Experience: Competence in posting receipts and conducting bank reconciliations.
- Excel Proficiency: Strong ability to use Excel for financial tasks.
- Independent Worker: Ability to work independently with confidence and reliability.
Desirable Skills:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines.
