KS2 Teaching Assistant

Salary: £95 - £105 per day

Contract: Full Time

GSL Education is in search of a KS2 Teaching Assistant to fill a post at one of our client primary schools in Sheffield.

Job summary: As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will design engaging lessons, facilitate interactive learning experiences, and create a safe and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Support students with their learning and development.
  • Participate in school activities and events.

The successful candidate will:

  • Experience working with children in a primary school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for helping children learn and grow.
  • Relevant qualifications or willingness to work towards them.
