Are you an organised Project Controls professional with a knack for ensuring projects run smoothly, stay within budget, and meet quality standards? Our client who is an independent, international company is seeking an experienced Project Controls Engineer with civil engineering experience to join their existing team in Birmingham on a contract or permanent basis depending upon your preference.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with a principal contractor on comprehensive project controls, encompassing planning, quantity management, scheduling, and cost control. As a key contributor, you will support the Project Controls Manager by ensuring that projects advance according to schedule, remain within budget, and achieve the required quality standards.

Main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

·        Cost Control

·        Reporting

·        Planning & Scheduling

·        Leadership

·        Stakeholder Coordination

Role requirements:

·        Excellent understanding of cost control, budgeting, and reporting

·        Strong working knowledge of project management software including Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·        Experience across working on Civil Engineering projects

·        Experience working for a tier 1 or tier 2 contractor
