Level 2 Teaching Assistant

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Sheffield, starting from September 2024. This role involves supporting teachers and helping students to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities.
- Provide support to students in small groups or on a one-to-one basis.
- Help prepare educational materials and resources.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including providing an enhanced DBS on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
We also offer, via our partner, access to accredited Education-relevant CPD courses. In addition to that, GSL Education is currently offering £100 for the successful referral of either Teachers or Teaching Assistants (Ts &Cs apply).
