Job Type: Temp to Perm

Expected Hours: 40 hours per week

Join a dynamic team, a leader in the structural steel and fabrication industry. Our client specialises in a variety of projects, including handrails, balustrading, staircases, cat ladders, and general fabrications.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and weld structural steel components, including handrails, balustrading, staircases, cat ladders, and other general fabrications.
• Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings to ensure precise fabrication and welding.
• Liaise with the Production Manager and Foreman to coordinate work schedules and meet project deadlines.
• Adhere to established timescales and deadlines for all assigned projects.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control throughout the fabrication and welding process.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Extensive experience in fabricating and welding structural steel and related components.
• Proficiency in interpreting and working from technical drawings.
• Basic knowledge of CNC machinery operation.
• Understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures and best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with handrails, balustrading, staircases, and cat ladders.
• Familiarity with general fabrication processes and techniques.
• Good communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with production management.
