Peace Recruitment are seeking an experienced 18th Edition Electrician to join our clients expanding team. Ideally applicants will have a strong background in testing & inspection, partial re-wiring and residual works when required like fuse board upgrades maintenance work.
The role will involve working on domestic void properties, refurbishments and maintenance work.
- Location: Edinburgh
- Duration: Ongoing (Monday to Friday, 8am-4.30pm)
- Rate of Pay: £24.00per hour
- Must have 18th Edition Ticket.
- Valid UK driving licence
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical maintenance and repair work in domestic dwellings
- Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults promptly and effectively.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
Requirements:
- Hold a valid 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance and repair of electrical systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Punctuality, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
This role is ongoing and with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.
