Do you have strong knowledge of Welding?

Our client is a heavy manufacturing business supplying large scale projects across the UK and Europe, including those in the nuclear industry. They are now seeking to welcome a Quality Manager into their team following significant business growth.

A growing business, busy sector, full order book and strong progression opportunities!

As the Quality Manager you will work closely with the Head of Quality and the wider QA team to ensure quality systems are maintained.

You will also carry out a range of duties including:

  • Leading customer and third -party audits
  • Raising and resolving Non-Conformances (NCR)
  • Internal audits and coordinating audit schedules.
  • Mentoring Quality Engineers & Inspectors.
  • Ensuring compliance to ISO standards (ISO 3834, EN 1090, ISO 9001)
  • Ensuring traceability of all supplied products
  • Compiling LTQR, WPS and WPQR documentation

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven Senior Quality experience working on Nuclear projects.
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor preferred.
  • HNC or above in relevant Engineering discipline
  • Knowledge of Welding and ISO 3834, EN 1090 & ISO 9001 would be highly desirable.


Location: Bolton
Permanent: up to £50k (dependent on experience)
Hours: 08:15 - 1700 (Mon-Thurs), 08:15 - 1500 (Fri)
