The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for electrical projects, with a particular focus on temporary installations. This role requires a detailed-oriented professional with excellent analytical skills and a deep understanding of electrical systems and temporary work requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects, with a focus on temporary works including site power, temporary lighting, and temporary distribution systems.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to accurately determine the scope of work and required resources.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather essential information for accurate estimations.
• Conduct site visits to understand the project environment and specific requirements for temporary works.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes for materials and services.
• Prepare and present detailed cost breakdowns and bid proposals to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor and analyze project costs, ensuring alignment with the initial estimates and identifying any deviations.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to electrical and temporary works.
• Utilize estimating software and other tools to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the estimation process.
• Assist in the preparation of project schedules and budgets, ensuring they reflect the scope and cost of temporary works.
