£33,000 - £37,000/annum

new and exciting Deputy Manager role has arisen to work in an expanding and developing service working in a residential home providing care and support for children with learning disabilities. To create a safe, nurturing environment where every child can thrive and are involved in all decision making.


As the Deputy Manager, you will play a cruicial role in supporting the Registered Manager in the day to day operations of te home. You will work closely with the team to ensure the highest quality of care, promoting the well-being and developement of each child. The difference that you make goes and long way and the joy of seeing the children achiving their personal goals makes this role so rewarding.

The service are looking for someone willing to go above and beyond for the children and young people. As part of your role, you will be responsible for the safeguarding of the children and young people in your care. You will understand the needs of the children and young people and ensure all staff work with them to deliver positive outcomes.


Requirements:

  • Must hold a Level 3 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and or willing to work towards a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Care.
  • Know and understand the importance of person-centred support plans 
  • Experience of working with children with learning disabilities
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures
  • A current full UK driving licence
