Security Operations Manager
Foundations Executive Search is pleased to welcome the latest opportunity to work for a major Global player within the Professional Services industry, operating within its highly specialist Business Technology Team located in Bristol, in the South West of England.
As part of this security function, the Security Operations Leader ensures that risks are captured and the Information Security across the firm remains up to speed on its adherence to policies, at the highest of standards.
With company-wide exposure of implementations and support across the wider environments; Information Security is at the heart and therefore responsibility is to deliver IT Security across the business, working closely with many Key Stakeholders, many thousands of users and across many locations and Countries.
A snapshot of tasks may include:
• The Creation and regular updating of IT security policies and procedures.
• Security consultancy for internal IT projects and programmes.
• Support client RFP and Security audit processes (with technical understanding)
• Involved with the support of vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, this would also include recommendation paths
• Maintain and support the latest IT Security tools
• IT SecOps functions such as the monitoring of security logs, firewalls, incident response, email and web traffic
• Obtain and maintain future accreditations and regulations
The ideal candidate would likely have the following:
• Demonstrable experience with ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials. • A desire for strategy and to support alignment for future decisions
• Vendor management experience
• Team Management Experience (Engineers, Analysts)
• Previous experience in supporting business from the MS suite; Azure, Office 365, MS Intune, Azure Threat Protection and Mimecast
• ZScaler
• Experience with Security Event and Incident Management platforms.
• The analysis of events and logs.
• Enterprise network and host security controls.
Being part of a large company of course has its very own brand recognition and perks, but this role will particularly bring a real depth of fulfilment and wide exposure to the enterprise business. With support too from the smaller business unit, there will be an organic growth to this role as it continues to grow in time.
