Warehouse Operative

Location:             Shrewsbury

Duration:             Permanent

Salary:                  £11.50 - £12 per hour

Hours:                  Monday to Friday – Days

Prince are working with a well-established organisation based in Shrewsbury who are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join the team. You will be responsible for completing day to day tasks within the warehouse such as handling goods, allocating stock to the warehouse, and picking/packing materials ready for dispatch.

The Warehouse Operative will be responsible for:

• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Picking and packing goods ready for dispatch
• Quality checking deliveries against delivery notes
• Raising any damaged or undelivered goods to management
• Driving the Forklift counterbalance
• Allocating goods within the warehouse
• Palletising goods ready for dispatch
• Manage stock and inventory levels
• Ensuring Health and Safety regulations are adhered to
• Keeping the warehouse tidy and clean

Skills and Experience:

• Previous warehouse experience
• Driving Licence
• FLT Counterbalance licence – not essential
• This role would suit someone who has previously worked as a Warehouse Operative / Warehouse Technician / Warehouse Person
