Industrial Sewing Machinist - Portsmouth, UK.
Location: Portsmouth
Pay: £12.00 p/h
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 16:00pm
Seasonal role for summer - Up to around mid September, could be extended due to demand.
Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Sewing Machinist to join their small family run business, working on high end out door furniture. Has to have experience with Twin needle on a Industrial Sewing machine, role may include cutting and ironing.
Responsibilities:
- Follow detailed specifications to produce high-quality products.
- Measure and cut fabric according to specifications.
- Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet company standards.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Experience with Twin Needle on Industrial sewing machine.
- Basic sewing skills and familiarity with sewing machine.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work with different types of fabrics.
