PMLD Teacher

Tradewind is working with a school who are looking for a PMLD teacher for a special school in Harrow. The role is full time starting in September with scope to become permanent.
The school:
An all through school for pupils aged 2-19 years with a range of severe learning difficulties including profound and multiple learning difficulties. The school provide a differentiated curriculum that enables pupils access to the National Curriculum and feel engaged with being at school.
As a PMLD teacher you will be responsible for the below:
- Planning and delivering appropriate lessons for pupils with PMLD
- Working with the support staff to put in place and run interventions
- Monitoring and assessing student progress
- Updating and setting targets for children.
- Working alongside a range of SEN professionals
To join us and be successful in this role you will need:
- Full QTS
- Previous experience working within SEN ideally PMLD or SLD
- An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- Legal right to work in the UK
