The successful EC&I Technician will be working on a COMAH chemical manufacturing site. As an EC&I Technician, the company can invest in further qualifications, offer a competitive pension, 25 days of holiday plus statutory holidays, plus flexible working hours!
Responsibilities of the EC&I Technician:
- Perform and document maintenance and breakdown work completed, inclusive of calibrations, installations, troubleshooting and fault-finding activities.
- Display confidence in working with DCS systems, process controls, and LOTO isolation, in a complex manufacturing environment.
- Possess awareness of Functional Safety, SIL, ATEX, and COMAH and apply this to the role.
- To maintain all Electrical, Instrumentation equipment, and control systems on site
- Reviewing and writing specifications and SOPs in the role of EC&I Technician.
- Engage in a career and personal development program to enable long-term progression to senior-level positions.
To be successful in this position as the EC&I Technician you will hold an either an HNC/HND in Electrical Control or Instrumentation Engineering, or have a degree in a relevant subject, with an established technical background and proven experience within a similar role and environment.
