One of your main responsibilities will be teaching, where you will plan and carry out textile, graphic, and resistant material classes. This will also require you to create and administer a curriculum that satisfies educational standards, which is known as curriculum development. Student assessments are where you will keep track of and report on their development.

The successful qualified DT Teacher will have:

• QTS with DT specialism (ECT’s are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching DT up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Excellent classroom management
• Strong communication skills
