Salary: £26,000 - £29,000

The Assistant Service Co-ordinator role is perfect for someone looking to progress their care career into management. Reporting to the Service Co-ordinator, you will ensure the service users are fully supported to their specific requirements, to provide the best quality of social care.

Key Responsibilities
* Promote the organisations aims and citizenship
* Support the daily operations and provide line management support to staff
* Provide a first-class social care service to the organisation's users in accordance with their requirements
* Always maintain professionalism
* Create and review care plans
* Administrative duties such as recording events and preparing paperwork.
* Participate in audits
* Supervise and support staff members by providing on the job training
* Follow health and safety procedures
* Be the leading team member on shift
* Continue to work on professional development


Requirements/Experience
* Must hold SVQ3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
* Experience working with those who require support needs
* Experience working with people who have difficulties in a social environment
* Previous experience supervising staff (preferable)
* Demonstrate committed values and an understanding of inclusion and citizenship
* Organisational skills
* IT skills
* Valid driving license
