£26,000 - £35,000 per annum

Our client is looking for people with an engineering mindset who are willing to learn specialist engineering processes and equipment which will allow them to support our client in one of their multiple departments. Your role you will be responsible for the product engineering of control system hardware and software for both current and future equipment.  

Junior Electrical Controls Engineer

Experience and duties you will be and learn within the role

• Produce electrical schematics & panel layouts.
• Produce technical documentation.
• Compile BOMs.
• Produce design calculations.
• Undertake feasibility studies.
• PLC programming experience is desirable:  Siemens S7 or Allen Bradley.
• Experience in a manufacturing industry of special purpose control systems for machines or capital equipment. 
• Manufacturing industry Automation experience desirable
• Knowledge of SCADA and HMI and motor drive programming would be an advantage.
• HND or Degree level in control/electrical/electronic or related engineering subjects.
• Previous use of solid works electrical CAD software package or similar.
• A good level of practical ability is desirable.
• Good general IT & PC skills including all MS Office packages desirable.
• A general knowledge of mechanical engineering would be useful.
